OUR PHILOSOPHY OF LEARNING
Our desire is to provide a welcoming and cheerful environment for preschoolers to experience and learn about God’s love. Children will engage in a variety of learning activities that are developmentally appropriate. We will use a play-based learning approach that emphasizes social, emotional, as well as academic learning. Recognizing that children are individuals, we strive for each child to feel known, cared for, and heard. We aim to work from the level that each individual child has attained and then move forward one step at a time. Our structure for the classroom is both child-centered and teacher-led.
CLASS TIMES
Classes run from September to May. Class sessions are from 8:45 – 11:45 am Monday/Wednesday/Friday following the Olympia School District school calendar.
AGE & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Children must be between 3-5 years of age. We also desire for your child to be fully potty trained and independent in any self-cleaning/care before or after the use of the potty. We do know that sometimes this transition can take awhile. Please contact us regarding our Toilet Training Form that we do offer.
CLASS SIZE
We maintain a 10:1 student-teacher ratio (or less) in our class.
